Relief & Healing

To change my life, I had to accept that
I am the only person responsible for it.

Over the course of therapy, the unique nature of your personal life story is explored. Potentially unhelpful patterns of behaviour can be better understood, allowing for a deeper connection with yourself and healthier ways of relating to yourself and others. New perspectives and solutions can emerge.

A central focus of my work is supporting people in successfully navigating life transitions, conflicts and crises, as well as preventing burnout.

I have been registered on the official list of psychotherapists since 30 November 2021. My specialist training is in Humanistic Therapy / Person-Centred Psychotherapy.

My most important teacher, in the sense of master and apprentice, is Lore Korbei. The writings of Carl Rogers and Erich Fromm have had a decisive influence on my view of humanity.

My clinical placements and professional experience cover both clinical and social-psychological settings.

I practise person-centred psychotherapy as developed by Carl R. Rogers, in which the three core attitudes of empathy, unconditional positive regard and congruence are given the highest priority:

Empathy – understanding another person’s world without judgement.
Unconditional positive regard – respect and acceptance, regardless of the issue.
Congruence – genuineness and authenticity in communication.

I work with you individually, with you and your partner, or with your family – through dialogue and conversation, in a way that feels right for you.

Areas of focus:

  • Finding ways out of depression, anxiety, panic attacks, compulsions, addictive behaviour, psychosomatic complaints and related difficulties
  • Coping with psychotic experiences
  • Successfully navigating life transitions, conflicts and crises; fear of no longer belonging; coping with existential loneliness
  • Developing a healthy approach to performance pressure and stress
  • Strengthening self-acceptance and self-confidence
  • Inspiration for building fulfilling relationships
  • Self-exploration and the search for meaning

I completed my specialist placements in the following settings:

  • Donauspital / SMZ-Ost – June/July 2014 – Psychotherapy and Social Therapy Unit, Department of Psychiatry at SMZ-Ost
  • 2017–2021 Non-profit association “Spielsuchthilfe”, an outpatient treatment centre for gambling addiction
  • 2016–2017 Caritas Haus Miriam – residential facility for women experiencing psychological and social crises

I have been authorised to practise psychotherapy independently since May 2020. Since November 2021, I have been registered on the official list of psychotherapists and authorised to practise psychotherapy on a self-employed basis.

Since autumn 2025, I have also been working as a psychotherapist at Gesundheitsresort Donaupark Klosterneuburg, a medical rehabilitation facility specialising in the prevention and treatment of burnout in accordance with the latest standards.
