Counsellor & Coach
Guidance & Coaching

Before you climb up the ladder, make sure it is leaning against the right wall.

— Stephen Covey

I am convinced that mindfulness and self-reflection make us stronger. Advice from others is of limited value unless the relevant issues are explored together in a way that is individual and appropriate to you. I am happy to be your sparring partner – someone who engages with you as an equal.

I have been a registered management consultant for many years, specialising in leadership, business processes and organisational structures. I have more than 30 years of experience in leadership roles and spent several years working as a managing director in the IT sector.

My training as a psychotherapist also leads me to pay close attention to questions such as: How am I feeling in this situation? How much energy does it cost me? What could I shape in a healthier way for myself? Do I need external validation? What makes me dependent?

To lead other people, you must first be able to lead yourself. Self-reflection and mindfulness form the basis of self-leadership. What is my current leadership style? What truly matters to me? What is important to me? What are my values?

According to H. Petzold’s model, the area of “work/performance/profession” is one of the five pillars of personal identity and an essential element of our self-image and emotional stability.

In this context, an external perspective on your professional situation – and therefore on your own satisfaction and mental health – is central. The focus may include reflection on your current work situation, career planning for new professional steps, job application coaching, the distribution of roles and responsibilities, taking responsibility, communication training, stress management, conflict management, skills, opportunities and recognition.

The coaching process is time-limited and always solution-oriented.

I work with you as an employee, specialist, executive or manager, with your company or with your teams – through dialogue, one-to-one conversations, seminars or workshops, in the way that is right for you.
